Much Needed Quality Time, Meditation and Asana Flow

Yesterday, I had the opportunity to spend some one-on-one time with my 12 year old. As a parent with multiple children, it can be a challenge to give each child their own undivided attention with mommy. So, yesterday was pretty awesome.

Corey and I did something we both love – hike up Stone Mountain. My fitness level is pretty low these days as I have not been as active as I need to be with the focus on my high school graduate. But now that graduation is over, I am getting back on track.

I pushed as hard as I could, taking minimal breaks. Corey barely broke a sweat. Gotta admire youth, huh? 😊 Either way, I did great!

My reward was to enjoy the view and a much needed yoga and meditation session.

I took off my shoes and settled right on into my meditation. It was perfect. Corey waited patiently until I was done then took a few pics for me while I performed a few yoga sequences. Again, perfect.

Here are some of the pics he took..

It was a lot of fun! And I’m super thankful for these moments.

  1. Great pictures!! Makes me miss Atl and Stone Mt. It’s always a treat to spend one-on-one time with our kids. I need to do it more. Thanks for the inspiration. Have a great week. 😊
