Hello everyone! It has been some time since I have posted on my blog. In December of last year, I started working full-time and have preparing to send my eldest son off to college in a few months. So, as you can imagine, my days are pretty busy. Although life has been hectic, I have been intentional about making this year very special as this will be my last mother’s day with all of my children at home. The photo above is a representation of how I have been working hard to make this year extra special. Last weekend, we had a family photo shoot at Stone Mountain Park. It was nothing short of AMAZING!
It is somewhat unbelievable that I have reached this stage in motherhood. Despite my disbelief, I am confident that my son is prepared for the next stage in his life. I have been reflecting on how much motherhood has helped me grow and mature. I am grateful to all of my children for the gift of motherhood. Although I am responsible for nurturing their growth and development, their presence has proven beneficial for my own growth and development. They may not fully understand the symbiotic nature of our relationship now, but will likely understand one day.
On this Mothers Day, I honor all women that have had an influential role in nurturing and loving a child during his/her life. HAPPY MOTHER’S DAY!
