I had a great run this AM followed by some abdominal exercises. Over the past 3 weeks I have added running to my workout, thanks to a great friend who gave me a fitness nudge. I needed to bump up my efforts to reach my goal of being bikini ready by May. I have not traditionally been a fan of running but I have done well these past three weeks.
I have applied the principle of progressive overload to each session and have seen great results. In today’s session, during the first 20 minutes of the run, I ran a 10 minute mile.
Monday I will be teaching my first boot camp class. With these improvements in my cardiorespiratory endurance I am ready to bring it. I hope my class is ready for me. Ha!
